A mid-20th century Rolex Precision manual wind wristwatch featuring a 9ct gold circular case. The case is designed with a distinctive fluted coin-edge bezel and down-turned lugs. The cream-coloured dial displays significant age-related patination and spotting, featuring applied gold-tone Arabic numeral hour markers, a printed outer minute track, and gold-tone dauphine hour and minute hands with a central sweep seconds hand. The dial is signed Rolex below the crown logo and marked Precision above the 6 o’clock position, with Swiss at the bottom edge. The watch is fitted with a modern replacement brown leather strap and a gold-tone pin buckle. It is accompanied by a period-correct green Rolex presentation box with a cream-coloured velvet cushion and silk-lined lid featuring the Rolex name and crown logo in gold. The case construction is consistent with 9ct gold examples produced for the United Kingdom market.

Condition report:
The watch is in fair vintage condition. The dial shows heavy spotting and even discoloration throughout. The 9ct gold case exhibits fine surface scratches and wear consistent with age, notably on the case back. The acrylic crystal has light surface scuffing. The crown is unmarked. The manual wind movement is untested for timekeeping or functionality.
