An extensive assortment of lapel pins, button badges, and promotional items, primarily dating from the late 20th to early 21st centuries. The collection includes a cased set of The Magic Roundabout Charity Lapel Pins produced for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust, marked Serge Danot/A.B. Productions S.A. 1993. Also present is an Official NASA Program and Mission Insignias pin from the Kennedy Space Center on its original backing card. A significant portion of the lot comprises UK charity memorabilia, with pieces representing the NSPCC, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Cancer Research UK (including SunSmart and Tickled Pink campaigns), Kidney Research, and the BBC Children in Need Appeal featuring Pudsey Bear. Character-themed items feature Thomas and Friends, Peppa Pig, and Disney Winnie the Pooh. The collection also contains various novelty button badges with slogans such as I’M SO HANDSOME I could shit and My Mum loves me when I’m asleep, alongside a Moscow Circus (МОСКОВСКИЙ ЦИРК) badge. Materials include enamelled metal, base metal, plastic, and printed card packaging.
Condition report:
Items are in varied condition. Several pieces remain on original backing cards or in protective plastic sleeves, showing some age-related wear, creasing, and minor foxing to the card. Loose pins and badges show general signs of use, including surface scratches, minor enamel loss, and oxidation to some metal components. The Magic Roundabout case shows light surface scuffing.
