This collection comprises multiple die-cast model vehicles from the Lledo Days Gone series, manufactured in England. The assortment includes a variety of vintage-style transport models, including delivery vans, a double-decker bus, taxis, a fire engine, a horse-drawn wagon, and vintage motor cars. The vehicles are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and feature free-wheeling wheels. Several models display recognisable corporate liveries, including Heinz 57, Texaco, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, Cadbury’s Baby Milk, Calor Gas, and a Brown Furniture delivery wagon. One vehicle is housed in Hamleys-specific promotional packaging featuring the text The Finest Toyshop in the World. Visible model identifications and reference numbers include 16009 for 1934 Dennis Parcels Vans, 12012 for a 1934 Dennis Birmingham Fire Brigade engine, 8016 for a 1932 Ford Y Van, 15012 for a 1932 AEC Regent Double Deck Bus, and 32000 for a 1907 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. All items are contained within their original cardboard window display boxes.
Condition report:
The vehicles appear to be in mint, unused condition. The original window boxes show various signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including light creasing to the cardboard edges, minor scuffing, and some yellowing or light denting to the clear plastic windows.
