A collection of aviation themed ceramics comprising five limited edition collector plates and one mug, all housed in original packaging with certificates. The collection includes a Wedgwood fine bone china round collector plate titled Thunder in the Hills from The Dawn of the Jet Age series by artist Wilfred Hardy, plate number X 488 A, featuring an Avro Vulcan in flight. There are four Davenport Pottery Co. Ltd. square porcelain plates from The Sky s The Limit series by artist Ronald Wong, each with a gold-tone rim. These plates include Swift and Hunter number 01330C, Valiant and Canberra number 02258B, Javelin and Lightning number 01159D, and Vampire and Meteor number 8065A. The lot also features a Leonardo Collection fine bone china Classic Plane Mug decorated with various World War II aircraft including a Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane, Wellington, and Mosquito.
Condition report:
All items appear to be in excellent, unused condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The original cardboard and polystyrene packaging is present and shows only minor storage wear. Certificates of authenticity are included for all five collector plates.
