A five-stone gemstone ring constructed in 18 carat yellow gold. The setting features a distinctive geometric, stepped design with stones arranged in an alternating diagonal pattern. It comprises three square-cut blue sapphires, each housed in a square bezel setting, and two round brilliant-cut diamonds in circular rub-over settings. The ring features an elevated gallery and a shank that tapers towards the shoulders. The interior of the shank is stamped with the mark ’18CT’, indicating the gold purity. Total weight: 4.09g.
Condition report:
The ring is in good overall condition with moderate wear consistent with age. The yellow gold shank exhibits fine surface scratches and minor indentations. The shank is slightly out of round (misshapen). Under 10x magnification, minor abrasions and small \'nibbles\' are visible to the facet edges of the sapphires. The diamonds appear bright and the settings are secure. Stones have not been removed from settings for weighing or grading; all gemstone weights are estimated.
