An 18ct yellow gold necklace featuring a traditional Egyptian cartouche pendant. The pendant displays raised hieroglyphic characters set against a stippled, textured ground, framed by a classic cartouche border with a horizontal bar at the base. The pendant is suspended from a tapered bail on a fine rope-link chain. The spring-ring clasp and the terminal jump ring are both stamped ‘750’, confirming the gold purity as 18 carat. The metal exhibits a rich, deep yellow lustre consistent with high-carat gold, and the construction is solid throughout. The total weight of the piece is 10.91 grams. The pendant measures approximately 30mm in length including the bail.
