A collection of elephant figurines including examples by Wedgwood Glass at King’s Lynn. The group includes eight figurines featuring a controlled bubble effect, often referred to as a snowball pattern, and one smaller solid metal figure. The elephants are hand-made with polished flat bases and stylised trunks. One figurine is marked to the underside with a circular acid-etched Wedgwood England stamp.
Condition report:
One elephant figurine has a significant chip to the tip of its trunk. The remaining pieces show light to moderate surface scratching on the bases consistent with shelf wear. There are minor internal flow lines and seeds inherent to the manufacturing process.
