This collection of ceramics features a Mid-Century Modern dinner service decorated with a stylized bamboo leaf pattern in black and olive tones on a cream-coloured ground. The service includes plates of various sizes, a lidded tureen, a gravy boat on a stand, a cream jug, and several cups and saucers. Also present is a partial Windsor fine bone china tea service decorated with a transfer-printed pink rose pattern; pieces bear a backstamp featuring a crown above the text WINDSOR, FINE BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND. The assortment also contains several hand-painted ceramic bird figurines, including three swallows and a mallard duck, a yellow floral bud vase, and a circular lidded trinket box. Two pieces of salt-glazed stoneware are included, comprising a lidded jar and a tall vase with traditional blue and grey relief decoration.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in generally good condition. The collection is currently in an uncleaned state with visible surface dust and grime. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs were noted during visual inspection, although minor surface wear and rubbing to the decoration consistent with age and storage may be present.
