A large assortment of blue and white earthenware and porcelain items featuring various makers and patterns. The collection includes a group of modern Spode items comprising an oval dish from The Spode Blue Room Collection titled Girl at Well, alongside Spode Italian pattern pieces including a jug, two egg cups, and a small rectangular dish, with marks indicating they are dishwasher and microwave safe. A set of three cylindrical earthenware canisters with lids is decorated in the Blue Willow pattern, transfer-printed with Tea, Coffee, and Sugar labels. Pitchers in the lot include a large globular Villeroy and Boch floral pitcher marked with the Wallerfangen eagle seal, and a smaller Blue Willow jug featuring historical metal staple handle repairs. The service ware includes two oval reticulated baskets with matching openwork underplates in the Blue Willow pattern, both baskets exhibiting metal staple repairs to the handles. Multiple platters are present, including a large Cauldon Teutonic pattern platter, a scrolling floral platter with staple repairs, a B. and P. Co. L.D. platter in the NAIIS pattern depicting birds, and a hand-painted floral platter marked Made in Italy. Decorative objects include a Portuguese ceramic swan-form planter marked P1643, a fluted cachepot transfer-printed with putti, a hand-painted tea bowl and saucer depicting an equestrian hunt scene with a square character mark to the bowl, a relief-moulded rhubarb stalk dish in pink and green, and a twin-handled dish with hand-painted pansies and gilded accents.

Condition report:

The condition varies significantly throughout the lot. Several older items exhibit significant historical repairs using metal staples, notably to the handles of the Blue Willow pitcher and reticulated baskets, and a large crack in the scrolling floral platter. Heavy crazing and associated brown staining are visible on the older platters and the putti cachepot. Multiple chips are present on the rims of various plates and dishes, and some items show visible cracks and age-related wear to the gilding and transfers.
