An assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewellery and novelty items. The group includes several brooches, featuring a large silver-tone star and a floral design both set with clear rhinestones, a pair of gold-tone leaf-form pins, an enamelled parrot, an angel, and a heart-shaped brooch embossed with the word LOVE. Bracelets include a gold-tone link style and a silver-tone bracelet set with multi-coloured glass cabochons in red, green, blue, and purple. Among the charms and pendants are a rubberised pirate character fob, an enamelled Brazil flag, a silver-tone cross, a gold-tone heart, a crescent moon with a face, and various animal motifs including an elephant and a teddy bear. The collection is further composed of multiple pairs and single earrings in assorted styles, alongside an assortment of rings. Materials consist primarily of base metals with silver and gold-tone plating, enamel, and glass paste stones.
Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition with evidence of general surface wear, tarnishing, and plating loss consistent with age. Some pave-set pieces may have missing stones. Several items are single earrings without matching pairs. Significant tarnishing is visible on the silver-tone cross and certain chain elements.
