Buyer's Premium:

A global philatelic collection housed in a red Stanley Gibbons three-ring binder. The assortment includes mid-20th-century stamps from various international territories, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, the People’s Republic of China, East Germany, West Germany, and India. The collection comprises a mix of mint specimens in clear mounts and used examples with circular date stamps and other cancellations. Represented issues include Canadian Queen Elizabeth II definitives and commemoratives, Belgian King Baudouin definitives, and mid-century series from the People’s Republic of China, including Mao Zedong commemoratives and physical culture issues. A separate group of thematic space exploration stamps from Liberia, Ras Al Khaima, Equatorial Guinea, Hungary, and the USSR is also included. Printing methods observed include lithography and photogravure.

Condition report:

Mixed condition throughout the collection. Used stamps exhibit a range of cancellation types, from light circular date stamps to heavy ink strikes. Mint stamps are present in mounts; gum condition is unverified for all specimens. Perforations are largely intact with scattered short or clipped teeth noted. The red binder shows visible surface staining, darkening, and wear to the exterior covers. Interior pages display light toning consistent with age. One thematic sheet is partially detached from the mounting.
