A modern solid pine shelving unit or bookcase designed in a rustic farmhouse style and finished in a warm honey-coloured gloss. The carcass features multiple vertical compartments separated by thick pine planks, topped with a simple moulded rail. The unit is supported by rounded bun feet. The primary timber is solid pine, displaying prominent knots and a straight grain throughout, which is characteristic of contemporary country pine furniture. A dark-toned metal butterfly hinge is visible on an adjacent wooden panel, suggesting the unit may have originally been part of a larger cupboard assembly or previously fitted with a door. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible.
Condition report:
The piece is in sound structural condition with minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with use. Some dust accumulation is visible in the internal corners and along the joints.
