A collection of British stoneware tableware by Denby, comprising items from two distinct patterns. The first group is in the Regency Green pattern, characterised by a sage green glazed exterior, a white glazed interior, and a contrasting ochre-toned rim. This set includes a teapot with lid, an open cream jug, a lidded sugar bowl, a large circular serving platter, an oval baking dish, a divided vegetable server, a deep serving bowl, and multiple teacups with matching saucers. The bases of these pieces bear a black printed backstamp reading Denby Handcrafted Oven-Microwave-Freezer Dishwasher Safe England E. The second group is in the Chevron pattern, featuring a matte olive green glaze and a textured relief chevron pattern to the exterior. This service includes a tall lidded coffee pot, several teacups with matching saucers, and a small lidded condiment pot. The bases bear a stamped mark reading Denby Made in England within a rounded rectangular border.
Condition report:
The large circular Regency Green platter has a significant visible chip to the rim. The remaining items in both sets appear to be in good used condition with no other major chips, cracks, or repairs visible. Some light surface wear and minor glaze imperfections consistent with age and domestic use may be present.
