An assortment of 16 pieces of vintage costume jewellery, primarily comprising brooches and hair accessories in various mid-20th-century styles. The collection includes several figural pieces: a large frog brooch pavé-set with clear rhinestones featuring gold-tone legs and black rhinestone eyes; a terrier dog brooch set with clear and black rhinestones; an owl brooch with clear and red rhinestone accents; and a mixed-metal silver and gold-tone novelty brooch in the form of a wheelbarrow or garden basket.
Celestial and floral themes are represented by a crescent moon brooch with clear rhinestone scrollwork; a six-petal flower brooch with reddish-brown marbled glass inserts around a central faux pearl; an ornate circular silver-tone brooch with a central floral transfer insert; and a floral sprig brooch set with round and marquise-cut clear rhinestones.
The lot features five distinct bow-themed brooches, including a large bow with cascading rhinestone tassels, a vertical ribbon bow, an open-work knotted ribbon bow, and a large bow embellished with faux pearls and clear rhinestones. Also included is a single small clear rhinestone bow-shaped stud earring. Finishing the collection are two bar-style brooches or hair slides set with clear rhinestones (one straight and one curved) and a large circular buckle or brooch pavé-set with two rows of clear rhinestones.
The pieces are constructed from base metals with silver-tone and gold-tone finishes, embellished with clear and coloured glass rhinestones, faux pearls, and marbled glass or plastic composite inserts. A white adhesive label bearing the handwritten characters 5, 5, 8, 8, P is attached to the circular brooch. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible.

Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition. There is minor surface wear and light oxidation to the metal components consistent with age and previous use. All primary stones and pearls appear to be present upon visual inspection. Note that the bow earring is a single item and is missing its companion.
