A contemporary light oak dining suite comprising an extending rectangular dining table and a set of six matching dining chairs. The table features a solid oak top with a central butterfly leaf extension mechanism, allowing for increased seating capacity. The table is supported by four sturdy square-section legs, each featuring chamfered inner corners. The accompanying set of six chairs exhibits a minimalist slat-back design, with each backrest incorporating three vertical splats. The chairs are constructed with visible mortise and tenon joints and feature upholstered seat pads finished in a neutral cream-toned textile. The suite displays a consistent honey-toned finish and prominent oak grain throughout. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels present.
Condition report:
The suite is in good overall condition with structural integrity intact. The table surface and legs show minor abrasions and light surface wear consistent with domestic use. The upholstery on the chair seats is generally clean, though one seat displays a small, faint area of discoloration. The extension mechanism is functional.
