An assortment of ceramic items and decorative objects, featuring several pieces from notable British manufacturers. The collection includes a Susie Cooper bone china partial tea service in pattern C440. The pieces are decorated with a motif of small, scattered green leaves and dots on a white ground, with some teacups featuring a floral spray to the interior. The undersides bear a green factory mark with the cursive signature Susie Cooper, a six-pointed starburst, BONE CHINA, ENGLAND, and the pattern number C440.
The lot also contains a group of Wedgwood pale blue jasperware stoneware, including small vessels and a circular lidded pot. These items feature white bas-relief sprigged decoration depicting classical figures and floral borders. The bases are impressed with the marks WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND.
Included is a Royal Albert bone china side plate in the Old Country Roses – Blue Damask pattern. The decoration consists of floral sprays set against a pale blue damask-effect ground. The backstamp features the floral logo, pattern name, and the mark © 2002 ROYAL ALBERT LTD.
A hand-painted earthenware decorative set is present, consisting of a bud vase, a globular lidded jar with a white cord handle, and a bowl. The set is decorated with an allover design of pink and orange flowers with green foliage. The base of the bowl features a hand-painted green monogram, possibly a stylised T.
Additional items include a small white ceramic bowl, a terracotta-coloured figurine of a seated animal, a ceramic jar with Finnish text Hyvää syntymäpäivää, and assorted textiles, including crochet lace doilies and embroidered linens.
Condition report:
The items are generally in good used condition. The Susie Cooper tea service shows minor surface marks and light staining to the unglazed foot rims. The Wedgwood jasperware appears well-maintained with crisp relief detail. The Royal Albert plate and hand-painted earthenware set show no significant damage, with some kiln support marks visible on the base of the bowl. Textiles appear intact with typical signs of age.
