Buyer's Premium:

A collection of five original watercolour paintings on paper, each presented in a glazed wooden frame. The grouping showcases a variety of British rural and coastal scenes. The largest work is a topographical view titled Durgan on the Helford River, Cornwall, signed David T Faull to the lower-left corner. A moorland scene featuring a stream is signed and dated BH 2001, with a label on the reverse for the artist Barry Hewett of Bodmin. A detailed architectural study is inscribed View from Besom Barn Longframlington and signed D.H. 1995. A further landscape showing a farmhouse is signed Doris Brownlee. The fifth painting is an unsigned study of reflected boats in a harbour. The works are executed in transparent watercolour with occasional use of fine pen and ink for architectural details. All are mounted within card window mats. The frames include mahogany-effect, natural pine, and gilt-lined wooden examples. The reverse of the Faull watercolour bears a handwritten gift inscription dated 23/12/99.

Condition report:

The unsigned harbour scene shows noticeable mat burn and toning to the paper. The remaining four watercolours are in good condition, showing stable pigments and no obvious signs of foxing, water damage, or significant light fading. Frames show minor surface scuffs, dust, and handling marks consistent with age. Window mounts are generally clean with light age-toning.
