Buyer's Premium:

A set of twelve commemorative proof-quality medals issued in 2021 to celebrate the life of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Each medal is struck in gold-plated copper and features a distinct colour pad-printed photographic portrait on the obverse. The portraits are bordered by the circular inscription PRINCE PHILIP DUKE OF EDINBURGH. The medals are housed in individual protective plastic capsules and presented in a blue velvet-lined, red-stained wooden case with a hinged lid. The collection is accompanied by two Certificates of Ownership bearing the serial numbers Z 004591 and Z 004592, which feature a seal inscribed CERTIFIED QUALITY AND AUTHENTICITY and a signature. Multilingual technical information cards in English, French, and German are also present, one of which bears the number 00290 and states a total edition limit of 5,555 complete collections.
