A collection of manual workshop and woodworking tools. The group features two cast iron bench planes, including a larger model with a wooden tote and knob, and a smaller version with a blue-finished body and wooden front knob. The lot includes a manual hand brace with a metal frame and wooden grips, alongside a wooden folding rule. Other items comprise a large wooden-handled mallet, a wire brush, a paintbrush, and several pairs of pliers and wire cutters with insulated plastic handles in various colours. A small white label with the handwritten characters R11026 is visible on the larger bench plane.
Condition report:
The items are in a used, unrestored state showing signs of heavy use. Significant surface rust and oxidation are present on the metal surfaces of the bench planes and the hand brace. The blue bench plane has a broken wooden rear tote handle. Wear and grime are consistent across the group. The functional status of the mechanical tools is untested.
