A collection of Four commemorative medallions celebrating the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. Each medallion features a silver-toned finish with a selective gold-toned rim and an intricate openwork lattice border. The obverses display colourised portraits of the Princess in various roles, including a wedding portrait, a mother with Prince William, a legend wearing a headscarf, and a formal portrait wearing a tiara. The reverses show a gold-toned silhouette profile set against a silver background, encircled by the text DIANA, THE FLOWER OF WALES and PRINCESS OF WALES A LEGEND. The medallions are housed in individual protective acrylic capsules and presented in two polished wood cases with blue velvet-lined interiors. Each case contains empty slots designed for additional pieces in the series. Accompanying the set are several Certificates of Authenticity, including serial numbers D 01471 and H 01950, with reference codes 195.076.1 NAT and 195.076.3 NAT. A small plastic bag containing a circular adhesive seal is also included.
Condition report:
The medallions are in excellent condition, having been preserved within individual acrylic capsules. The wooden presentation cases show minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with handling and storage. All accompanying certificates are intact with no visible tearing or staining.
