A contemporary abstract sculpture carved from a dark, wood. The work features two stylized figures intertwined in a continuous, interlocking loop, mounted on an integral circular plinth. The sculpture is accompanied by a Neoclassical style demi-lune console table. The table features a green variegated marble top with white veining, supported by a mahogany-toned wooden frame with three turned legs and a shaped lower stretcher. Decorative elements include brass-finished collars and a central circular rosette at the leg junction. Both items bear white adhesive inventory labels marked S702C. There are no visible artist signatures or foundry marks.
Condition report:
The sculpture is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. The console table shows minor surface abrasions, light scuffing, and wear to the finish on the wooden base, consistent with age and use. The marble top appears sound.
