A collection of British Royal family commemorative memorabilia, primarily focused on the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The lot features two framed philatelic sets by Harrington and Byrne titled 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Unused Stamp Collection. Each frame contains four unused 1953 coronation stamps with denominations of 2 1/2d, 4d, 1s 3d, and 1s 6d, accompanied by certificates of authenticity. Numismatic items include two Bailiwick of Jersey Diamond Jubilee 2012 Fifty Pence coins featuring colour portraits of the Queen, one Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Birth Centenary commemorative medallion with a 100 ER reverse, and a gold-coloured commemorative bar embossed with the Royal Coat of Arms and a 1953 quote on the reverse. Ceramic items include a commemorative mug for the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, dated 29th July 1981. The lot also contains a large Queen Elizabeth II – A Celebration display board and an ephemera folder titled The Story of Queen Elizabeth II Told in Coronation Decorations, which is marked with a red sticker indicating the contents are replicas. Many items remain in protective plastic capsules or original retail packaging.
Condition report:
The collection is in excellent overall condition. The Harrington and Byrne stamp sets are well-preserved within their frames. Numismatic items appear to be in brilliant uncirculated or proof-like condition, protected by plastic capsules. The 1981 commemorative mug is free from visible chips, cracks, or restoration. Ephemera components show only minor signs of handling wear consistent with storage.
