A collection of assorted vintage jewellery comprising multiple strands of graduated simulated pearls, brooches, necklaces, and earrings. The lot includes a double-strand graduated simulated pearl necklace and a single-strand graduated simulated pearl necklace, both featuring clasps marked 925 and CIRO. These items are presented with an original yellow fabric-lined Ciro Pearls box bearing the addresses 48 Old Bond Street, W.1 and 178 Regent Street, W.1, London. The collection further features a circular openwork brooch stamped IONA and SCOTLAND to the reverse, and a pair of rectangular drop earrings with a hammered finish stamped SILVER to the reverse. Other components include a wide hammered-finish metal cuff bracelet, a silver-toned chain with a pear-cut blue paste pendant, a pink heart-shaped paste pendant, and an assortment of silver-toned brooches, studs, and miscellaneous components. Visible markings include 925, CIRO, IONA, SCOTLAND, and SILVER.
Condition report:
The items exhibit general surface tarnish and light wear consistent with age and use. The simulated pearls show minor surface rubbing and some discolouration near the clasps. The metal cuff and various silver-toned components show visible oxidation and surface scratches. The original Ciro presentation box shows staining to the interior lining and wear to the exterior.
