A large, custom-built wooden dollhouse professionally modelled after the iconic Green Gables house. The structure is designed with a hinged front facade and a hinged side gable to provide full access to the interior. The exterior is finished with white-painted horizontal siding, contrasting deep green shutters, and a steeply pitched roof meticulously clad in individually laid wooden shingles stained green. Architectural features include two dormer windows, a decorative gabled front porch, five windows with flower-filled window boxes, and two red brick-effect chimneys. To the right side is a two-storey porch with white balustrades and a miniature wooden porch swing. A small wooden plaque fixed above the front door is incised with the characters Green Gables. The interior comprises six main rooms across two floors, connected by a central hallway and a wooden staircase with a banister and newel posts. Each room is fully decorated with a variety of floral and patterned wallpapers, skirting boards, and coving. Flooring throughout includes wood-effect planking, stone-effect tiles in the kitchen, and a decorative carpet runner on the staircase. Notable interior fittings include four ornate fireplace mantels with decorative surrounds, multiple six-panel internal doors with brass-tone hardware, and several miniature gold-tone picture frames. The house is wired for lighting and includes pre-installed fixtures such as multi-arm chandeliers and wall sconces. A 12V transformer unit with a UK 3-pin plug and associated internal wiring is present.
Condition report:
The house is in generally very good condition with well-preserved paintwork and interior decor. All hinges are functional. There are a few loose interior components, such as small picture frames, that require re-adhering. The electrical system and lighting are present but have not been tested for functionality.
