A United Kingdom 2018 The Royal Mint silver proof Mrs. Tittlemouse fifty pence coin presented in a clear acrylic case with original packaging. Struck in .925 sterling silver, this coin is part of the Celebrating Beatrix Potter and Her Little Tales collection. The obverse features the definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · F · D · 50 PENCE · 2018. The reverse, designed by Emma Noble, bears a colourised depiction of the character Mrs. Tittlemouse with the inscription MRS. TITTLEMOUSE. The coin is housed in a magnetised clear acrylic presentation block and is accompanied by its original decorative patterned box and a white outer sleeve printed with The Royal Mint logo. Documentation includes a specifications booklet and a Certificate of Authenticity numbered 10526, bearing the printed signature of Anne Jessopp, Deputy Master and Chief Executive. The booklet specifies the alloy as 925 Ag and notes a limited edition presentation of 30,000 units.

Condition report:

The coin is in uncirculated proof condition with mirror-like fields and frosted relief as issued (photos 4 and 5). The acrylic presentation block is well-preserved with no significant scratching. The information booklet and certificate of authenticity are in good order. The white outer card sleeve shows light scuffing and minor wear to the corners and edges from storage (photos 1 and 2).
