A collection of contemporary costume jewellery and hair accessories in various materials including base metals in silver and gold tones, plastic, glass, wood, fabric, and faux pearls. This lot comprises a diverse assortment of fashion items such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings, alongside several hair ornaments and a small circular decorative box featuring painted and inlaid patterns. Notable carded items include a necklace with a label reading LUMIELA NECKLACE MARINA DE BUCHI, multiple packs of clips on retail cards reading Buttercup Hair Accessories 10 Pack, and a pair of stud earrings on a card labeled accessories. The group also features a large red fabric flower clip and a variety of beaded and corded bracelets, including one strand featuring skull beads. One item is accompanied by a card printed with the sentiment LOVE YOU TO THE MOON & BACK. The collection is housed in a blue plastic crate.
Condition report:
The items are offered as a mixed lot and exhibit varying states of wear. Several items remain on original retail cards and appear to be in unused condition (photo 3). Many pieces are loose within the container and exhibit tangling and surface scratches consistent with bulk storage (photo 1 and 2). The lot is sold as seen; individual clasps, fastenings, and stones have not been tested for completeness or functionality.
