A collection of vintage style jewellery and hair accessories including a heart-shaped locket and an inlaid wooden box. This lot comprises a heart-shaped locket with chased floral decoration, bearing the stamped characters 9C BACK & FRONT on the reverse. A yellow metal ring features a single prong-set clear faceted stone and is stamped CZ to the interior of the shank. The group includes a white metal knot-design ring and a rectangular gold-toned bar brooch with etched scrolling patterns. A beaded necklace is included, featuring clear cylindrical beads, star-shaped spacers, and an owl pendant with iridescent shell inlay and coloured stone eyes. Hair ornaments include an oval white metal filigree clip and a gold-toned metal comb with a dragonfly topper finished in pink and black enamel. An inlaid wooden marquetry box with a geometric diamond design to the lid contains several metal hair pins.
Condition report:
The wooden box shows visible surface wear, scratches, and finish loss to the lid (photo 2). The heart-shaped locket exhibits minor denting to the reverse (photo 5). The white metal knot ring is heavily tarnished and misshapen (photo 6). Tarnish and surface wear are evident on the bar brooch and necklace components (photo 4 and 7). The enamel work on the dragonfly comb appears intact (photo 3).
