This lot comprises three portable radios and two vinyl records including examples by Pure, Singer and Philips. The first item is a Pure Evoke-1S DAB and FM digital radio featuring an oak-effect veneer cabinet wrap, a silver-tone plastic front panel, and a curved metal carrying handle. The fascia includes two rotary knobs for Volume and Tune, a central OLED display screen, and ten buttons. The unit is marked PURE and EVOKE-1S to the upper corners, with digital Radio and DAB Digital Audio Broadcasting text to the lower edge. The second radio is a Singer 2 Band 8 Transistor model, housed in a brown leather-style protective case embossed with an S and sewing machine logo. The dial is a horizontal slide rule type, and the fascia is printed SINGER 2 BAND 8 TRANSISTOR. The third radio is a Philips MW and FM transistor receiver in a black leather-style case featuring a vertical slide rule dial and a small metal Philips shield logo. The lot also includes two seven-inch vinyl singles: St. Winifred’s School Choir, Hold My Hand (MFP 908 STEREO), and a Philips recording of the Belle & Sebastien original TV soundtrack with music by Daniel White. This lot comprises the radios and records only; the shelving and background items are not included.


Condition report:

The Pure digital radio appears in good aesthetic condition with minor surface dust (photo 1); the display and internal electronics are untested. The Singer radio leather case shows significant scuffing and wear to the corners and edges (photo 2), and the radio body has accumulated dust and grime. The Philips radio case is heavily worn with the top carrying strap detached (photo 3). Both record sleeves exhibit ring wear, creasing, and edge wear (photos 4 and 5); the vinyl discs have not been inspected for playability or surface marks. All electronic items are sold as untested.
