A collection of tableware and serving pieces including six Jason placemats and six matching coasters, an assortment of Pimpernel placemats and coasters, three Past Times boxes and an Arthur Price of England spoon. The placemats and coasters are constructed from acrylic-finished board with cork backing. The serving pieces include a silver-plated spoon with a decorative pierced shell-form bowl and an ornate fiddle-pattern handle featuring scrollwork. A second silver-plated spoon is housed in its original protective plastic sleeve within a presentation case.
The collection is contained within original retail packaging. The Pimpernel items are housed in a red box featuring a script logo within an ornate black cartouche reading Pimpernel and the word ACRYLIC. The Jason items are presented in white boxes printed with Jason PLACEMATS and Jason COASTERS in blue sans-serif text. Three maroon boxes carry a gold circular logo depicting a horizontal sword through the characters PAST TIMES. The black presentation box for the preserve spoon is printed in gold with two Royal Warrants and the text Arthur Price of England Master Cutlers and Silversmiths since 1902.
Condition report:
The Pimpernel packaging exhibits a small circular surface mark near the logo (photo 1). The Jason and Pimpernel boxes show light shelf wear and rubbing to the corners and edges (photo 1, 4). The Past Times serving spoon displays significant surface tarnish and toning, particularly to the interior of the bowl (photo 2). The Arthur Price spoon appears to be in unused condition within its original packaging (photo 5).
