A collection of approximately 125 plastic-cased compact discs including Daniel O’Donnell and Glenn Miller titles, as well as an assortment of various other artists. The lot is predominantly housed in standard and slimline plastic jewel cases, with some examples in card sleeves. The collection encompasses a broad range of mid-20th century and contemporary music including easy listening, vocal pop, jazz, big band, and light classical recordings. It includes multi-disc sets and combined CD and DVD packages.
This assortment features a significant concentration of easy listening and vocal pop, notably including several titles by Daniel O’Donnell such as From the Heart, Classic Doubles, Memories of Love, and At the End of the Day. Big band and jazz genres are represented by multiple Glenn Miller compilations and Artie Shaw’s Sweet ‘n’ Swingin’. Other featured artists include Nat King Cole, Susan Boyle, Katie Melua, and Michael Bublé. Pop and contemporary genres are represented by a limited edition CD and DVD set of Sway’s This is My Demo and titles by Daniel Bedingfield and Lisa Stansfield. Label branding is visible for Ritz, Dramatico, Decca, and Columbia.
Condition report:
The plastic jewel cases show visible surface scratches and scuffs throughout (photo 1). Multiple cases exhibit cracked hinges and structural damage to the plastic (photo 1). The media has not been removed from the cases for inspection; the playability and surface condition of the discs are unverified. Printed tray liners and booklets appear to be present in the majority of the cases.
