This lot comprises the books and ephemera only; the wooden shelving shown in the images is not included.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good condition, showing general signs of shelf wear and age throughout. Visible defects include sun-bleaching and fading to numerous paperback spines, particularly evident on the Penguin editions (photo 4). Hardcovers show bumped corners and rubbing to the edges of the cloth and boards. The dust jacket for The Brontës and Their World exhibits significant tearing and loss to the upper edge (photo 9). Tanning and foxing are present on the page blocks of the older volumes and the sheet music. The sheet music and paper travel guides show creasing, edge wear, and minor chipping (photo 12).
