A collection of Chinese style decorative items comprising a pair of landscape hanging scrolls, a pair of guardian lion figurines, and various small carvings. The pair of hanging scrolls are executed in ink and light colours on paper or silk mounts. Each scroll depicts a traditional mountainous landscape with pavilions and figures. The first scroll is inscribed with the characters 溪山春曉 (Xishan chunxiao) and dated 庚午冬月 (winter of a Gengwu year) beside a square red seal. The second scroll bears the inscription 水村春曉 (Shuicun chunxiao) with a matching date and red seal.

The lot includes a pair of Qilin or guardian lion figurines constructed from a moulded composite material finished to resemble aged ivory. One figure is depicted with a pup beneath its paw, while the other rests upon a decorated ball. Both are mounted on cloud-form bases and feature red accents on their harnesses. Also present is an archaic style dragon carved from a dark green translucent hardstone, possibly jadeite or bowenite, and a marbled stone carving with cream and red veining resembling a toad or turtle. A small translucent yellowish-orange stone bird is also included.

A small green fabric-covered presentation box features a printed label reading 神蛙 (Divine Frog) with a red seal, and an adhesive white label reading THIS ITEM IS NOT A TOY. The box contains two metallic-finished frog miniatures, one in a gold tone and one in a silver tone, each resting on a green metallic leaf base.

Condition report:

The pair of hanging scrolls exhibit significant horizontal creasing throughout their length and light foxing consistent with age (photo 11). The pair of mythical beast figurines show residue from former adhesive or felt pads on the undersides of the bases (photo 8). The green hardstone dragon carving has a heavy accumulation of surface dust in the recessed areas (photo 3). The marbled stone carving appears in good condition with a polished finish (photo 2). The green fabric box shows minor shelf wear and a frayed red ribbon pull (photo 9).
