A collection of decorative ceramics, glassware, and antiques including Royal Worcester and Codd-neck bottles. This lot comprises a Royal Worcester christening money bank shaped as a book, inscribed to the front A ROYAL WORCESTER FIRST EDITION CHRISTENING SAVINGS BOOK and to the side On Your CHRISTENING… To help you Save. A ceramic footballer decanter depicts a player in a red and black striped kit, with the base embossed BODEGAS… BARCELONA… EN ESPAÑA and BRANDY. Three green glass Codd-neck mineral water bottles are included, one embossed SNOWDON & CO… MANCHESTER and another THE ROSE MINERAL WATER CO… REGD. A large ceramic bowl features an irregular rim with a metallic gold and black drip glaze. A white matte-finished architectural model, possibly made of plaster or resin, bears the embossed text ORDINARY DAYS WILL SHINE and features a classical arcade interior.
The collection further includes a dog head decanter possibly made of milk glass with a dark brown stopper, a set of hand-painted nativity figurines, and a jointed wooden elephant folk art toy with red paint accents. Metalware items consist of a brass openwork sphere with star designs and a blue cabochon stone, a silver-toned metal box with scrolled decoration in a blue case, and two rusted iron spearheads with twisted shanks. A burgundy velvet cap with gold metallic embroidery and beads, a small marquetry wooden box, and a red glass paperweight complete the group. This lot comprises the decorative items only; the blue metal shelving units and background items shown in the images are not included.
