A green and brown glazed storage jar is fitted with a metal mechanical compression lid, marked to the underside with a printed black stamp reading ‘AONIAN MADE IN ENGLAND’ and an incised ‘H’. Several sets of miniature bone china tea service pieces are included in their original presentation boxes, with the gold lettering ‘Wedgwood’ printed on the transparent lids. Further items include two bone china floral posy ornaments, one marked with a printed blue ‘COALPORT MADE IN ENGLAND’ stamp and the other a green printed ‘ROYAL DOULTON’ lion over crown mark. A bone china hand bell is marked to the interior ‘Hammersley MADE IN ENGLAND BIRD OF PARADISE’. The lot is completed by a silver-plated style cruet stand with two glass bottles, a mottled brown glazed dish, a wood-framed dried flower arrangement under convex glass, and a tan zippered wallet.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition with surface wear consistent with age and use. The silver-plated style cruet stand is incomplete, missing at least one glass bottle, and shows significant tarnish and oxidation. The metal compression lid of the Aonian jar exhibits surface rust to the screw mechanism. The James Kent wash basin shows some minor surface staining and shelf wear to the underside. The Wedgwood miniature sets appear well-preserved within their boxes. The bone china posy ornaments may have minor, typical losses to the delicate petal edges. The zippered wallet shows minor exterior scuffing.
