A collection of ceramic tableware and decorative items including pieces from a Royal Doulton dinner service and a Windsor bone china tea set. The Royal Doulton pieces are decorated in the mid-century modern style Bamboo pattern, featuring stylised bamboo stalks and leaves in shades of forest green, ochre brown, and black against a cream-coloured ground. The service includes a large circular lidded tureen, a sauce boat with an integral stand, a cream jug, various dinner and side plates, dessert bowls, teacups, and saucers. The base of the sauce boat bears a printed brown mark reading MADE IN ENGLAND with ROYAL DOULTON arranged in a circle around a lion and crown crest, followed by BAMBOO, D. 6446, COPYRIGHT, and DOULTON & CO LIMITED. The Windsor bone china items comprise a partial tea service featuring pink rose floral sprays with green and grey foliage and scalloped gilded rims. A printed mark on the base of a teacup reads BONE CHINA, WINDSOR flanked by two small rose motifs, and MADE IN ENGLAND. Additional items in the lot include a polychrome ceramic mallard duck figurine, a small yellow bud vase with blue floral decoration, and a circular lidded pot with a multi-coloured floral pattern.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition throughout. A small white mark is visible on the finial of the Royal Doulton tureen lid which appears to be surface wear or a minor glaze flake (photo 1). The Windsor bone china pieces show minor wear to the gilded rims consistent with age and domestic use. One teacup base displays a very small nick to the foot rim (photo 4). The miscellaneous decorative items appear free from significant chips or cracks.
