A mixed lot of assorted metal and plastic tools including various hand tools and bench vice. This lot comprises a large collection of functional implements for domestic and workshop use, housed in three plastic storage bins. The garden section features a serrated metal bulb planter with a blue and black grip, a pair of green and yellow plastic-handled grass shears, and a metal garden trowel. Workshop tools include a small blue-painted cast iron bench vice, two large spools of wire, a mallet with a green handle, and a variety of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, files, and Allen keys. Other notable items include a traditional wooden-handled hand brace, a wooden-handled hand saw, and several wooden-handled wire brushes. One brush handle is impressed with the characters B, B, ., 1, 9, 8, 8 above a second line reading 1, 2, 0, -, 2, 5, 3, 7. The tools are constructed from steel, iron, wood, and various plastics.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with signs of age and storage throughout. Significant surface oxidisation is visible on the garden trowel and bulb planter (photo 1) and the bench vice (photo 2). Wooden handles show typical wear, staining, and surface splits (photo 1 and 3). The plastic storage bins show some scuffing and wear from use.
