A Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled Look At Me, also identified by the Spanish title Platero con Flores. The piece depicts a young girl wearing a wide-brimmed sunhat decorated with a single flower, riding a donkey that carries two large baskets overflowing with pink, white, and yellow flowers. The girl holds a gold-tone cord rein. The group is set upon an oval base with a textured, grass-like surface. The underside of the base features a blue underglaze backstamp with the company’s bellflower logo above the characters LLADRÓ, followed by HAND MADE IN SPAIN and © DAISA 1987. The number 5465 is impressed into the porcelain base. A small circular white adhesive label reading 204 is also present on the underside. The figurine is accompanied by its original cardboard presentation box, which features a printed label reading LLADRÓ, 05465, PLATERO CON FLORES, LOOK AT ME, and a barcode 7 37859 05465 5.
Condition report:
The figurine appears to be in excellent condition. The delicate porcelain flowers in the side baskets and on the girl\'s hat appear complete with no visible losses to the petals or foliage (photos 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7). No chips, cracks, or professional repairs are evident to the porcelain. The gold-tone cord rein is present and intact. The original cardboard box is included and shows only minor shelf wear to the edges and corners (photo 1).
