A Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled Chit-Chat, or Confidencias in Spanish, model number 5466. This lot comprises a single glazed porcelain figurine depicting a young girl with blonde hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a pale blue and grey dress featuring lace-like detailing to the hem. The figure is portrayed seated upon a decorative stool whilst speaking into a pink telephone receiver, with a spotted Dalmatian style puppy curled at her feet. The piece is finished in a high-gloss glaze with a characteristic pastel palette. The underside of the base bears an underglaze blue factory mark comprising the bellflower logo above the text LLADRÓ, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and © DAISA 1987. The model number 5466 is clearly incised into the porcelain base, alongside additional smaller incised characters C and 25J. A small circular white adhesive label printed with the number 225 is also attached to the base. The figurine is accompanied by its original manufacturer’s cardboard retail box, which features a side label printed with the Lladró logo, the model number 05466, and the titles CONFIDENCIAS and CHIT-CHAT. The label also includes a barcode and a secondary retail sticker reading * E J N 7 1 *.
Condition report:
The figurine appears to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair (photos 1-4). The delicate telephone receiver and the fine lace-like detailing on the hem of the girl\'s dress remain fully intact (photos 1, 5). The original retail box shows minor shelf wear and surface marking consistent with age but remains structurally sound (photo 6).
