A Lladro glazed porcelain puppy figurine with original box, titled A Sweet Smell. The figurine is depicted in a stylised crouching pose, sniffing a single pink flower atop a small patch of green foliage. The piece is finished in a characteristic palette of muted pastel tones with a high-gloss glaze. The base bears a blue printed backstamp featuring a bell-shaped logo above the word LLADRÓ, along with the text HAND MADE IN SPAIN and © DAISA 2001. The underside also shows incised characters including A-21 and a small circular paper sticker printed with 215 over 02. The original cardboard box features labels identifying the piece as model 010.06832 and carries the Spanish and English titles ¡QUE BIEN HUELE! and A SWEET SMELL. The box also displays a barcode sticker marked *L36JC* and a Lladro Assurance Program logo.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair (photos 1-4). The delicate applied porcelain petals of the flower remain entirely intact (photo 4). The high-gloss glaze is consistent across the surface. The original box shows some shelf wear and minor creasing at the corners but remains structurally sound (photo 6).
