An Edwardian style simulated flame mahogany and ebonised oval wall mirror. The frame is constructed with a rounded cove profile, finished in a simulated flame mahogany grain with dark vertical banding, bordered by an ebonised outer rim. The inner sight edge features a silver-toned beaded or gadrooned border surrounding the mirror plate. The mirror plate itself is clear and finished with a bevelled edge. No manufacturer or retailer marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The bevelled mirror plate appears clear and well-preserved with no significant foxing or desilvering visible (photo 1). The frame shows minor surface wear, including small scuffs and minor paint loss on the outer ebonised rim, consistent with age and typical handling (photo 2).
