This lot comprises two Nao by Lladro glazed porcelain figurines, each accompanied by its original branded cardboard presentation box. The first figurine depicts a young boy dressed in a blue duffle coat with matching gloves and hat, carrying a backpack, with a small brown puppy seated at his feet. The second figurine represents a woman in a sleeveless blue top and a long pink dress, wearing a wide-brimmed white hat with a blue band, and holding a small white dog. The underside of the boy figurine bears a brown printed backstamp consisting of a diamond ship logo and the text NAO HAND MADE IN SPAIN by LLADRO © DAISA 1987, alongside an incised H within a circle and a circular adhesive label numbered 535. The underside of the woman figurine features a similar brown printed backstamp reading NAO HAND MADE IN SPAIN by LLADRO © DAISA 1991, accompanied by an incised H within a circle, an incised digit 9, and an adhesive label numbered 565.
Condition report:
Both figurines appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs (photo 1). There is minor surface dirt and light scuffing to the unglazed foot rims (photos 2 and 3). The woman figurine has an auction lot sticker and a secondary identification label adhered to the front of the skirt (photo 1). The original cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear and surface marks (photo 1).
