This lot comprises two items comprising a vintage Compac Piano electronic keyboard and a Yamaha PSR-500 keyboard box. The portable electronic piano features a sixty-one key keyboard layout housed in a black plastic casing with wood-effect laminate panels to the front and sides. The control panel is finished in a black textured material and carries five vertical sliding potentiometers. These sliders are labelled in printed white characters for EFFECTS, VIBRATO, and VOLUME, with specific settings for PIANO and CLAVI CHORD, alongside SPEED and DEPTH controls. A raised white block logo reading COMPAC PIANO is located at the bottom left of the control panel. The unit is accompanied by a black foot pedal with a connected cable terminating in a quarter-inch jack. The lot is completed by a separate, large blue and black cardboard box for a Yamaha Portatone PSR-500. This lot comprises the keyboard, pedal, and box only; the furniture, flooring, and plastic container of toy bricks shown in the background are not included.
Condition report:
The Compac Piano keyboard exhibits significant paint loss and chipping to the white lettering of the COMPAC PIANO logo (photo 1). There is a layer of surface dust and light scuffing visible across the black casing and white keys (photo 4), with minor wear to the edges of the wood-effect laminate trim (photo 4). The separate Yamaha cardboard box is in poor condition, showing heavy wear, significant tearing, and multiple clear adhesive tape repairs to the corners and seams (photo 2 and 3). The electronic unit has not been tested for electrical functionality and is sold as seen.
