A Progressive chrome plated pedestal fan of contemporary industrial design. This fan features a large circular chrome-plated wire cage protecting three broad blades. The fan head is mounted on a telescopic chrome-plated pedestal stand, allowing for height adjustment, and is supported by a weighted, domed circular base. The centre hub of the fan cage bears a blue and silver manufacturer’s label reading ‘Progressive’. Affixed to this hub is a small white rectangular adhesive sticker with handwritten characters reading ‘G1004P’. The unit is fitted with a standard black power cord and a UK three-pin plug. This lot comprises the fan only; the furniture, ceramics, and other background items shown in the image are not included.
Condition report:
The fan appears to be in good used condition with the chrome plating remaining bright. Minor surface dust and light, scattered marks consistent with domestic or light commercial use are visible on the cage and base (photo 1). No significant pitting or corrosion is observed on the metallic surfaces. The item has not been functionally tested or PAT tested for electrical safety.
