This lot comprises an assortment of workshop tools, accessories, and storage solutions including Stanley, Record, and Black and Decker examples. The hand tools include an iron bench plane featuring a wooden tote and knob, with the lever cap marked Stanley and the toe marked Made in England. A second red-painted iron bench plane is marked Record to the heel and Made in England to the toe. A wooden and brass sliding bevel is marked Fisgard S.M.A. 8 to the stock. A traditional wooden box contains a metal hand brace and assorted auger bits, while a plastic cantilever toolbox contains an eggbeater-style hand drill and a selection of hand tools. Power tools include a Black and Decker corded jigsaw, model KS633E, and a Black and Decker Safe n Tidy cable reel with orange cable and a standard UK three-pin plug. A Rawlplug Rapid 53 DIY staple gun is present in original retail packaging. Storage units consist of four multi-drawer plastic cabinets containing assorted fasteners and wall plugs. Further items include a Blackspur assorted chipboard screw pack, Bosch masonry drill bits, and Spear and Jackson Eclipse hacksaw blades.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with signs of workshop wear. The metal bench planes show varying degrees of surface oxidation, rust, and paint splatter (photo 1, 2, 3). The wooden box for the brace and bits shows surface scuffing and age-related wear (photo 2). Plastic storage units and the grey and yellow cantilever toolbox show surface dust and scuffs (photo 4, 7). The retail box for the jigsaw and the packaging for the staple gun show creasing and shelf wear (photo 1, 5). All electrical items, including the corded jigsaw and cable reel, are sold as untested for electrical safety and functionality (photo 1, 8).
