A collection of mixed costume jewellery in a multi-tiered faux-leather box. The lot comprises a large assortment of vintage and contemporary items including necklaces, bracelets, bangles, brooches, and earrings. These are constructed from base metals, acrylic, glass, ceramic, and enamel.
Individual pieces include multiple strands of faux pearls in peach and cream tones, rhinestone-set tennis-style bracelets, and black and gold damascene style articulated metalwork. A miniature book charm is present, inscribed with the text THE LORD OF THE RINGS and J.R.R. TOLKIEN. The collection also contains a Disney style Minnie Mouse enamel charm, a blue and white Delft style ceramic floral brooch, and a green enamel Celtic style knot pin. A celestial brooch depicting a crescent moon and star is included, along with a butterfly brooch featuring purple and blue enamel wings. The box is finished in a mock-crocodile texture with three pull-out drawers and a cream fabric lining. One compartment contains a small plastic bag of loose jewellery components and a handwritten tag reading ANKLE CHAIN.
Condition report:
The items are in mixed used condition. Multiple necklaces and chains are tangled (photo 1). A small plastic bag contains loose fragments and components (photo 3). Visible tarnish and surface wear are present on various base metal items (photo 5 and photo 7). The storage box appears functional with minor surface marks to the interior lining (photo 6).
