A collection of costume jewellery and men’s accessories including Marks & Spencer, Jon Richard, and Burton Menswear examples with presentation cases. The group is constructed from base metals with gold and silver-toned finishes, featuring enamel, glass and plastic beads, faux pearls, and faceted rhinestones or crystals. Notable items include a large articulated dragon brooch decorated with red and white enamel stripes and clear stones, housed in a black presentation case. The lot also contains a multi-strand black beaded necklace with a rectangular animal-print pendant and a silver-toned five-row link bracelet.
Retail marks and labels are visible across several pieces. A pair of gold-toned oval cufflinks are contained in a black box with the interior lid printed St Michael FROM MARKS & SPENCER. Further Marks & Spencer items include a faux-pearl and pink accent necklace on a card marked MARKS & SPENCER, a pair of green stone stud earrings on a card marked M&S EST. 1884 SILVER PLATED, a pair of iridescent stud earrings on a card marked MARKS & SPENCER, and a silver-toned delicate necklace on a card marked MARKS & SPENCER. Other marked items include green faceted stone stud earrings on a card marked Jon Richard, leopard-print pattern stud earrings on a card marked wallis, and silver-toned rectangular cufflinks on a blue card marked BURTON MENSWEAR LONDON. A pair of black drop earrings are present on a card marked opia… with a partially legible adhesive label reading 1/2 Marked Price.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good condition, with many remaining on their original retail display cards. The dragon brooch appears complete with no missing stones or enamel loss visible (photo 4). The faux pearl necklace exhibits minor surface scuffing to the beads consistent with storage (photo 3). The silver-toned bracelet and open-link necklace show no significant tarnishing or damage (photo 1). All earring pairs appear complete and the cufflink cases function correctly.
