A collection of four timepieces and collectibles including a Bulova US Double Eagle style desk clock. This lot comprises a gold-toned desk clock designed to replicate a US 20 dollar coin, featuring a figure of Liberty and the Roman numeral date MCMVII. The hinged metal case opens to reveal a dial marked with the manufacturer name Bulova and QUARTZ. The clock face also features a relief Flying Eagle and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TWENTY DOLLARS. An adhesive rectangular metal plaque bearing the logo and name BECTON DICKINSON is fixed to the case. The assortment further includes a silver and yellow-toned gear-shaped quartz pocket watch bearing the number 111, an open-face quartz pocket watch with a dark metal case depicting a locomotive in relief, a silver-toned miniature bottle charm, and a small copper-toned metal bar with a rear clip.
Condition report:
The gold-toned desk clock shows multiple surface scratches and scuffs to the outer case (photo 1). The gear-shaped pocket watch displays visible wear and paint loss to the yellow-toned finish (photo 2). The open-face pocket watch has a heavily tarnished case (photo 2). All quartz movements are untested and functionality is not guaranteed.
