A collection of assorted costume jewellery including beaded necklaces and pendants. This lot comprises a variety of necklaces and accessories primarily constructed from simulated pearls, glass, and resin, alongside potential semi-precious stone beads such as aventurine or carnelian style pieces. The assembly features a range of styles including multi-strand necklaces and graduated bead strands in various colours such as orange, green, red, blue, and brown. The beads show faceted and smooth surfaces, incorporating metal spacers and clasps in both gold-tone and silver-tone base metals. Small decorative charms and pendants are also visible within the lot. The exterior of the clear plastic packaging bears a white rectangular adhesive label printed with Shobrook & Co, 449, Plymouth, and a torn paper slip with the handwritten purple ink code J 6 2 4 K. No specific maker marks were discernible on the individual items through the packaging.
Condition report:
The items are bulk-packed in a plastic bag and show significant tangling throughout (photo 1). There are several broken strands and loose beads visible at the bottom of the packaging (photo 3). General surface wear, minor abrasions, and accumulated dust are present across the collection, consistent with bulk second-hand storage (photo 2).
