This lot comprises two boxed home entertainment units including examples by Philips and Panasonic. The first item is a Philips DVP3020 DVD player housed in its original retail box, which features the printed text Reproductor de DVD and the Spanish phrase Potencie su experiencia visual con audio / vídeo de alta calidad. The packaging indicates the unit has an ultra-slim design and features a 12-bit video DAC and progressive scan technology, with compatibility for MP3 and Picture CD formats. The second item is a Panasonic DIGA DMR-EZ47V DVD recorder and VHS combination deck. The box is printed with the model number and regional codes EB and K, and includes commemorative text stating Thank You! 3,000,000 DVD Recorder Production in Europe. This unit features an integrated DVB-T Freeview tuner, HDMI output, and VIERA Link functionality. The outer packaging for both units shows significant shelf and storage wear, including heavy creasing, corner blunting, and surface staining (photos 1, 4). The Philips box has several impact creases and structural weakening to the front and top surfaces (photo 1, 5). The Panasonic box displays similar wear to the corners and edges, with surface scuffs and marks throughout (photo 2, 3). Operational status has not been tested, and the presence or completeness of internal components and accessories, such as remote controls and cables, has not been verified.
