A collection of two decorative art glass vases including a Gozo Glass marbled example. The larger vessel is a Czech style hand-blown sommerso glass vase, featuring a deep ruby red core encased in a thick clear glass body. The clear casing is pulled into a multi-lobed fluted form, with integrated dark amethyst or black streaks visible near the weighted base. The second piece is a small Gozo Glass hand-blown bulbous vase with a wide flared rim, decorated in a marbled agate pattern with swirling tan, brown, cream, and white tones. This vessel carries a rectangular silver-toned adhesive label on the shoulder reading GOZO G-L-A-S-S and bears an incised signature to the base in cursive script reading Gozo glass. This lot comprises the two glass vases only; the commemorative coins, ceramic figurines, and other background items visible in the photographs are not included.
Condition report:
Both vases appear to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The large ruby red vase features a smooth rim and a clean interior (photo 4). The marbled Gozo Glass vase is free of visible wear, retains its original manufacturer label, and the base signature is clearly legible (photo 3). No significant surface scratches or abrasions are noted to either piece.
